When I was 12 my parents discovered these revolutionary Shaklee products. Our home was transformed and I was introduced to nutritional supplements.
I may have thought my parents were a bit over-zealous about Shaklee, but I did feel they were good and valuable products.
Once I moved out on my own, however, I never really thought about incorporating Shaklee into my own home – and I certainly never considered a career in sales of any kind!
Then in 2005, we were blindsided by my husband’s illness and eventual retirement. Our income decreased and our expenses increased. My husband also required more of my time but was less able to assist in parenting our three daughters. I soon became overwhelmed trying to work full time and care for a sick person and three children virtually alone and with little money.
I felt trapped because I knew there were nutritional supplements that could help my husband, but I couldn’t afford them. The demands of my family had become so great that I could not continue to work full time, but now the need for my income was even greater than before. In fact, we really needed an even higher income to make our life workable, but my job had no potential for income growth.
In 2009, my parents encouraged me to start my own Shaklee business – to gain the higher income and time freedom I needed, and to improve my husband’s health. My work hours had been reduced, so I decided to give this a try. I changed all of our cleaning products to Shaklee, started on the Cinch weight-loss program, and launched my husband on Vivix. Within three months, my daughter’s eczema improved, I lost 20 pounds, and my husband had less pain, more energy, and more mental clarity. I also discovered that the cleaning products worked great and cost significantly less than the grocery store brands I had been buying.
Very simply, I discovered that by just changing brands I am saving money and living a healthier life – and by sharing this “gift of Shaklee” with others, I am also earning an income! I think that’s just awesome!
Now I definitely have a much greater appreciation of the potential Shaklee has to improve health and lives.
As much as I don’t like sales – I really enjoy giving gifts – and this business is my gift to you!
