According to the Mainstream Medical Community (or MMC as I like to call it), the answer is NO… and the technicalities of that question may be debated for years.
Maybe a better question is; is it possible to live completely free of asthma symptoms?
Most asthma experts agree that you can work to control symptoms, but a growing number of sever asthma sufferers have been able to manage their disease to the point that they have no symptoms whatsoever!
Following is the three part method these people are using to end their suffering, which affects and estimated 17 million to 20 million people in the United States alone, according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. There is no specific “correct” order to these steps and some people find the level of relief they need after implementing just one or two of the pieces.
First of all, find your specific triggers and then plan to avoid them. This usually involves eliminating toxins in the environment and can be accomplished by using non-toxic cleaners and laundry products, such as Basic H household cleaner, Basic G germicide, and Basic L laundry detergent.
Second, strengthen your immune system. Nutritional supplements that are proven to support immune health are Vitamin C, Garlic Complex, Immunity Formula, and Defend & Resist Complex (Echinacea).
And finally, use natural anti-histamines, such as Alfalfa, GLA Complex, and Omega Guard (Hippocrates discovered in 450 BC that flaxseed oil helped reduce asthma attacks, and modern studies have confirmed this benefit from Omega-3 fatty acids)
With the worldwide incidence of asthma rapidly increasing, and traditional drugs used to treat asthma
often “toxic, addictive, and sadly ineffective” according to Dr. Andrew Weil in Natural Health, Natural Medicine, my hope is that more people will be able to find relief from their suffering.
